Focusing on "Environmental Auditing for Sustainable Development" The 7th ASOSAI Symposium held in Hanoi, Viet Nam

On September 20, 2018, during the 14th Assembly of ASOSAI, the 7th ASOSAI Symposium was successfully held in Hanoi, Viet Nam. A total of 350 representatives from 40 countries and international organizations participated in the symposium. Dr. Harib Saeed Al Amimi, Chairman of INTOSAI Governing Board and President of SAI UAE, Mr Jaehyeong Choe, Secretary General of ASOSAI and Chairman of SAI BAI delivered the remarks at the opening ceremony.
 
 

The theme of this symposium is “Environmental Auditing for Sustainable Development”. Dr. Ho Duc Phou, Chairman of ASOSAI and Auditor General of State Audit Office of Viet Nam, Mr. Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara, Chair of INTOSAI WGEA and Chairman of The Audit Board of The Republic of Indonesia, and Ms. HU Zejun, Chair of ASOSAI WGEA and General Auditor of National Audit Office of China, co-chaired the the plenary session of the symposium. Representatives from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries read the special reports in the plenary session; representatives from INTOSAI IDI, ACCA, and Australia, Nepal, Bangladesh and other countries read the country papers. Participants made discussions on the “Environmental Auditing for Sustainable Development”.
