ASOSAI WGEA Holds Online Training on “Solid Waste Audit”
On December 22nd 2020, the Online Training on “Solid Waste Audit” was held, which was the first themed training organized by the ASOSAI WGEA. More than 160 auditors from 16 SAIs participated in the training.
Mr. Song Xin, Senior Engineer of the Solid Wastes and Chemicals Management Center of Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, and Ms. Noraza Mohd Ariff, Deputy Audit Director of Performance Audit Sector of National Audit Department of Malaysia gave lectures on “Understanding the solid waste management and its policies” and “How to conduct the solid waste management audit” respectively and answered questions from the participants.
This online training on “Solid Waste Audit” is the first event of the pilot project of “online and face-to-face” themed training on environmental audit, which is an important task in 2020-2022 Work Plan of ASOSAI WGEA.
