2nd Joint Meeting of Cooperative Audit and Research Projects of ASOSAI WGEA Held in Bangkok, Thailand


During January 21 to 25, 2019, the 2nd Joint Meeting of Cooperative Audit and Research Projects of ASOSAI WGEA was held in Bangkok, Thailand. During the meeting, as the leader of the Cooperative Audit Project on Water Environment, the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand summarized the experiences and practices of audit institutions in various countries in carrying out water environment audits, and submitted the audit results to the meeting, which were eventually unanimously agreed by the participants. As the leader of Research Project on Big Data Auditing, the National Audit Office of China (CNAO) organized a parallel meeting on the Application of Big Data Technologies in Resource-Environmental Auditing. CNAO discussed the report of scientific research project with the participants of India, Kuwait and Vietnam, and determined the tasks and time schedule of the next stage. The participants indicated that they would further cooperate actively and submit relevant results timely.
